I have been positive reinforcement based professional dog trainer for 8 years. Before I began training, I was employed by the second largest rescue in the state. I am the proud dog mom to five senior dogs and one very energetic young Papillon. Through my years of training and rescue I have been fortunate to be exposed to almost every breed out there. In my training, I specialize in working with fearful and anxious behaviors. I have years of experience, a vast knowledge, and a formal education surrounding dog behavior. My background allows me to better support the needs of dogs that most wouldn’t categorize as “easy”. After building a clientele of regular boarding dogs through Rover, I stopped adding new pups to our extended family. As the years have ticked by, my own pack has changed, and some of my regular guests have moved away. As I reopen my calendar, I am moving away from boarding in my home and will be focusing on sitting dogs in their own homes where they are usually the most comfortable when their parents travel.
