Pet care experience
I have taken care of dogs since I was 12 years old. I currently own a senior dog (15 year old Maltese) who I have dedicated my life to taking care of. One thing that keeps a dog happy and healthy, are daily walks, which is something owning a senior dog has taught me. Not everyone has time to walk their dogs, which is why I wanted to step in and help, one dog at a time.

I have a puppy proofed home with nothing left around for a dog to eat. I always keep my dogs on leashes and never let the roam by themselves. I keep an eye on dogs and know how to prevent/stop fights.

I would like to know if the dog is reactive to other animals/humans or not. I would also like to know if the dog pulls or if they get distracted easily on walks, especially if they like to chase. I would also like to know if they have any allergies, illnesses, or breathing problems.
A typical day
I love to encourage the dogs to play with toys while they are home. Especially little puzzles for them so that they get stimulation in their brain. When it comes to walking them, I normally like to walk them around their own neighborhood. Dogs get used to certain smells on their walks and they like to patrol the area around their house. I think it’s great and interactive.

I am currently at a 9-5 job but starting February 24, I will be working a remote, flexible position that will leave me with a lot of free time and availability to walk/board/dog sit pups.
