I AM A FULL-TIME PET SITTER with a PHD in Animal Behavior (UCLA). I've been pet sitting & training for over 25 YEARS -- It's all I do! My bookings are insured by the Rover Guarantee, as well as my own private insurance. **DOG SIZE** I usually book TINY (0-15 lbs), SMALL (15-25 lbs) and MEDIUM dogs (25-40 lbs), and, I *can* take LARGE(r) dogs (40-100 lbs) *if* they are SENIORS and/or have LOW ENERGY. PLEASE consider these "best fit" preferences BEFORE reaching out! **BREEDS/MIXES** For insurance purposes, I CANNOT take the following BREEDS/MIXES: Pitbulls, Rottweilers, Dobermans, Siberian Huskies, German Shepards, Chows, Akitas, Mastiffs, Cane Corsos I'M KNOWN FOR PROVIDING: - A “home-away-from-home” - PICTURE/VIDEO updates each day & upon request - An immaculate space (Inside & Out) - A "chill vibe" (Even for the most anxious of dogs) - 100% SUPERVISED stays

Dana was an absolute godsend !! We could not be happier with the services she provided for a week long stay for our baby Lulu . She’s extremely communicative sends photos and videos every single day along with updates of the days activities. YOU SHOULD: - Try to complete your PET(s) PROFILE (preferably with a recent photo) & be open to a (free) MEET & GREET, where we will evaluate your dog's "fit." - Disclose if/when your dog is/has been: AGGRESSIVE (towards food, toys, people, space, etc.); and/or DESTRUCTIVE (not teething/chewing on household items - toys are fine!) and/or is HIGH ENERGY or considered ANXIOUS. YOUR DOG(S) SHOULD: - Be SOCIALIZED (and/or friendly with other dogs of all sizes/breeds); "FIXED" (though exceptions can be made on an individual basis); and, CURRENTLY fully vaccinated & on treatment for fleas/ticks (100% Flea/Tick free history). BONUS POINTS if you let me know your dog(s) have boarded and/or gone to daycare before! PLEASE NOTE: - I *typically* care for dogs that are Small (ish), Low (er) Energy level, Old (er) and/or Senior and/or Special Needs, but will evaluate each dog on an individual basis, as I do occasionally sit for puppies and larger dogs. I am always happy to let you know the number and types of other guest dogs that will be in the house during your pup's stay, when/if asked!
A typical day
WHAT TO BRING: Your pup(s) on a LEASH and, preferably with a COLLAR, FOOD, MEDS. NOTE: I have PLENTY of bowls, beds, toys, etc., so it's best to leave your pup’s favorite things at home (or bring them at your own risk)! A TYPICAL DAY: I walk the dogs in the gated garden complex to avoid unknown dogs or dogs off-leash & COYOTES. I do not take more than 2 dogs for a walk at time (unless your "pack" is larger than 2 and YOU prefer they walk together). I do NOT take dogs to the dog park because I feel it is too unpredictable and potentially dangerous. My guest dogs play with each other and/or enjoy sitting in the sun on the porch and/or in my backyard garden (FULLY SUPERVISED and on leash). They generally do what dogs do: follow me/my roommate around the house and sleep...it truly is a "home away from home" for them! PLEASE NOTE: - In the event that I MUST leave the house, I will notify you (ASAP), but rest-assured that my roommate WILL be here to supervise the dogs. We've lived together for 6 years and I trust him with MY OWN dogs.

Because I am a FULL-TIME sitter, I have a flexible schedule and can accommodate early drop-offs & late pick-ups, as well as EXTENDED stays and stays that run longer than expected. (I complete 100% of my bookings) DROP-OFFS: 6 AM (Earliest) PICK-UPS: 12 PM (Latest) * NOTE: Before 7 AM & After 7 PM = $10 fee * NOTE: Over 8 hours in 1 Day = $10 fee (Within reason!)
