After having a not so positive experience at a Doggie Resort, I decided to give Rover a try. My husband was extremely skeptical, but I told him about the meet & greet with Dana and how she does this for a living - dogs are her life and passion. When he met her at drop off he instantly felt the same level of confidence. Dana was nothing but AMAZING! Dana ensured the experience was seamless! She ...

Dana's is fantastic, clearly one of the biggest dog lovers ever :) Her home and backyard are set up to be dog's paradise, and every single thing you can think of is well accounted for.

It was our first time using Rover and first time boarding our pup. My experience from inquiry to picking up our pup with Dana was exceptional. Dana was quick in responding, professional, and kind. Her meet and greet was very specific which I enjoyed and appreciated as it gives you a sense on how she runs her doggy daycare! Her place has a very calm, relaxed yet fun energy, and clean. I was confindent my ...

HUGE Yard, AWESOME Home & FT Host!

Owners tell me their dog(s) get excited as they turn down my street. Most of my pups run off to their favorite spot or toy (or both!) when they arrive, so you may want to prepare your "Goodbye!" at the door!

PLEASE NOTE: ALL my guest pups *must* be altered; have complete & up-to-date vaccinations; and be friendly with other dogs of *all* shapes & sizes. I watch AT LEAST 3 dogs everyday ...

What Dana would like to know about your dog

I have had guests that are 150 lbs and ones that are under 1 year-old. The "best fit" for us has to do more with demeanor (BUT your dog should most definitely get along well with others) and energy level (it's pretty chill here). I’d like to know if your pup is or has been aggressive before (towards food, toys, people, space. etc.); if your pup has anxiety (and what that looks like); if your pup has destructive tendencies (i.e. chews or eats anything he/she shouldn’t); and if your pup is taking any medication(s) or has any dietary restrictions!

NOTE: I can't take exceedingly hyper dogs. I tend to watch smaller & older pups, and I don’t want to stress the pack.

ALSO: Your pup has to be spayed or neutered & up to date on vaccinations to stay here, please ^_^

When Dana watches your pet

I've got the "meet & greet" scenario down to a science and will send detailed instructions on what to expect when you first stop by! Don't be alarmed that it's about a paragraph long - it's just tips/tricks that I've learned to make everything run smoothly, especially for my little dog, Francis ^_^ Note: while at my house, I do not take your pup for walks (unless you’ve paid for walks during the stay). I also don’t take guest dogs to dog parks. I like the controlled environment of my house/yard, and feel it’s just safer all around this way!

**WHY THE RECENT RATE INCREASE?!**
I’m now pet sitting FULL TIME, so I’m able to be extremely flexible & accomodating to you/your dogs’ needs, practically 24/7! Additionally, I’ve made (and will continue to make) a lot of changes to my home & yard to get your pups ALL THE THINGS they want & love! Finally, after having done some research on the “big box” (i.e. commercial) pet sitting options in my area, I’ve discovered that I’m still SIGNIFICANTLY less expensive, have far more EXPERIENCE, provide exceedingly more PERSONAL care & attention, and *objectively* offer a more STIMULATING environment for your pets than they do - EVEN AT THIS PRICE POINT. I’m confident you’ll agree, but you don’t have to take my word for it, my reviews say it best! ^_^
