Dogego Dog Boarding

Pet care experience

I am an animal lover all around! My son and I have 3 seniors and one 4yr old dog. We are no stranger to any type of behavioural issues you may have! I am working towards a sanctuary/rescue boarding facility! If you are looking to add an addition to your family, let me know! Please reach out to see our schedule. • Is your beloved pup nervous toward other dogs or people? • Would you like to take him/her for a walk but dread the inevitable confrontation with any dog nearby? • Do you have a pup no other dog walkers will attempt to take? • Does your pup have issues with new people, other pets and behaving on leash? • Does you pup get refused due to the breed/size? • Are you looking for a calm, safe place for your pup to stay while you're out of town? I have been taking care of dogs all of my life. I like to think that my family and I don't offer just a boarding service, but a vacation time to our furry friend. If we go on vacation they can too!! I am a pet lover, I like them all in colour, shapes and personalities. Over the past 20 years, I have been highly active in rescue. Doing so I have learned much about myself but more about dogs. I have taken many training courses as well as attended many seminars with different type of training techniques. I personally know how hard it is to find a place you know and trust. Our first priority is safety. I believe in positive reinforcement training for dogs of all behavioural levels and breeds. We welcome dogs with issues from fear, aggression, prey drive, dogs with issues walking, xlarge breeds, pack walks, and of course balanced dogs too! . We currently have 2 Chihuahua's(Chicken-14) and (Cerberus-13), a pitty mix(Hank-12), as well a new joiner Daxy who is a 4yr old Frenchie. We want everyone to know what is expected and more importantly your family member to feel as safe and comfortable as possible. That being said we do accept last minute reservations as well. Please check my calendar, and if we are available for your dates, tell me all about your pup and ask any questions you have. Someone is home 90% of the time. Unless we are on a walk, or a run to the store is needed. We have security cameras, places through out the house. I Offer: Dog boarding which includes walks, socialization treadmill training, structured play time, and of course snuggles. Pictures/ video updates throughout vacay. Access to a 24/hr vet clinic. Flexible booking arrangements. No limitations on size or breed. Discounts on multiple dogs. Discounts available for long term stays. Pick ups and Drop offs. Please note, we no longer accept dogs with separation anxiety. Sorry for the inconvenience.

Very experienced lady, she took great care of my dog. I didn’t think I would ever be this comfortable with someone having him. Highly recommend Dana!

Morning- Everyone goes out one by one, to make sure everyone's poops are a-OK. Feeding- Everyone gets fed separately, to avoid guarding and allergy issues. (unless they need a buddy to encourage them to eat) 100% access to water. Rest- Before everyone gets too ramped up, we give time to digest some food! Walks/Play groups- All pups get their first walk of the day, and off leash play groups (if permitted) in a fully fenced yard area(weather permitting). Relax time- All dogs are given ample "chill out time" between play times More play time- Every day is different, from mind games to treat training to treadmill work. Dinner- Same rules as breakfast. As well if a dog needs lunch they will receive it at the correct time. Digest time before evening walks. Walks- Pee/poop before bed. Sleep- Every dog will be separated from each other(unless from the same household) for safety reasons. All dogs are placed where they are the most comfortable. Whether it is in a crate/room/or in bed with one of us. All visitors will get at least two walks per day(weather permitting). All schedules can change, depending on each individual dog.
