Pet care experience
My name is Dana. I’m a registered nurse turned stay at home parent. I love spending time with family and friends, being outdoors, baking and DOGS to name a few. I’ve been a dog owner my entire life, growing up we always had dogs and I’ve always had a dog of my own in my adult life. I enjoy dogs and have always felt like they are therapeutic to us as people. There is nothing more calming than an early morning walk with your dog! My dog, Dominic is a mastiff/lab mix and is our family’s best friend. He is an AKC certified Canine Good Citizen. I truly have enjoyed training him and learning all about dog behavior. Passing the CGC test was a fantastic accomplishment for us as a pair. Our family absolutely loves our Dom. I know your dog is your best friend too, I will take care of your dog just like I would want mine taken care of, with lots of attention and love. I know firsthand how hard it is to leave your dog, I’ve had to board dogs before and I know how anxiety inducing it can be. Dana was wonderful! Our dog is shy and stubborn (much more than we realized) and Dana handled her with loving care, which allowed us to enjoy our time away. I highly recommend Dana and will reach out to her again.
Dana was great with my pup for a daycare day! She took my girl for a walk and sent multiple pictures throughout the day so that I knew she was doing well. My dog came straight home and took a nap, so I know she had fun ?! We wouldn’t hesitate to book with Dana again.
I have known Dana and her dog, Dom, for 5 years. Dana is honestly the best pet owner I have ever known. Not only does she care fiercely about her dog, she makes sure he is getting the exercise, nutrients, and medical care that he needs. While going on walks and outings, I have seen Dana obey leash laws, be respectful of other dogs and people by keeping Dom close to her, and pick up the dog’s waste. Because of Dana’s excellent work, Dom is a gentle giant. I have trusted him with both of my young boys and I credit him for being the reason my kids are comfortable with animals. I cannot recommend anyone more than Dana to care for your pets. She will do a great job and genuinely enjoy the time she is caring for your pet!
Dana is a wonderful dog caregiver. I have seen the time and effort she has put into training, taking care of and walking her own dog. Having said that her dog is the best and most loving dog I know which I think attributes to her. She is a very trustworthy, loving, and kind person. She is a dog lover at heart.

Information Dana C. would like to know about your pet
Due to the fact that I have small children in my home, it’s of utmost importance and absolute necessity that your dog has been exposed to children and is calm and comfortable around them. I have a dog of my own, he is very friendly and at first meet, very curious and excited about other dogs. He is extremely well socialized. To protect him, any dogs I take care of need to be capable of being around our dog without showing signs of aggression. I also require that all dogs that I host are up to date on all vaccinations, this is to ensure a healthy environment for not only my own family and dog but for any other dogs that I take care of in my home. I prefer that any puppies and/or dogs that stay with us, who are not yet house trained, use a crate while I am out of the house and at night time. I am flexible and willing to work with specific situations, circumstances and preferences. Please message me with any questions and/or to set up a meet and greet!
A typical day
We take daily walks in and around the neighborhood. Nearby, there is a fun nature trail that my dog absolutely loves! If your dog is anything like mine, just having someone at home all day is a huge comfort for him. Your dog will never be home alone for more than a couple of hours.
