Pet care experience
Hi my name is Dana, and I love spending time with dogs! For the past four years I have been a member of the Rutgers University Seeing Eye club where we raise Seeing Eye puppies to become guide dogs. This allowed me to gain a lot of experience with raising and training dogs and puppies through hands on experience and weekly informational meetings. I also have been a regular dog walker/sitter for many of my family and friends dogs. At home, I have two cats so I have experience taking care of cats as well. From the many hours she has spent with my dog and others, it is clear that she is a natural when it comes to caring for animals. Also, she is incredibly driven, and doesn't quit until the job gets done, which will absolutely be reflected when she is walking any customers dogs. Overall, she is a great person who not only has the commitment to make sure your dog has everything they need, but the love required to guarantee that they're happy and comfortable when you're gone.
Dana is absolutely capable of caring for any dog. She is mature and attentive. She's taken care of my dog on numerous occasions and done a fantastic job doing so. She's also taken care of and walked other dogs of family friends and really cares about all the dogs.

I would not let a dog off their leash outdoors unless in a safely fenced in area. Some dogs have great recall, but I would rather be cautious in all scenarios! I also believe in keeping the dog in sight as much as possible especially when they are younger.

A typical day
I love going to parks or around the neighborhood just for a walk to get some outdoors time. If you have a fenced in backyard I could play with a dog for hours!

Availability
I work different shifts that change on a daily basis, so I often have mornings, afternoons, or evenings free as my schedule changes. I do not have standard weekends on Saturdays and Sundays. Instead, I always have Tuesday and Wednesday off, but I am free to provide services before or after my shifts as well!
