Your Fur Baby is Family!

Pet care experience

I am not accepting new customers at this time. Experience with high energy breed. Siberian Husky Mom for 8 years. I provide ample exercise with multiple walks and out door play in my fenced in yard. I can play fetch and provide other stimulation with ball pit or puzzle/treat toys. I will watch over your pet with their safety and happiness as my number one priority. I previously had a cat for 16 years and I have also provided pet care services for 4 cats in one family on multiple occasions. I respect and love all animals and will treat them as my own. Our fur babies are our children and part of the family. I will ensure your family is well taken care of and happy. I work fulltime Monday thru Friday and commute 1 plus hours one way. I board on weekends since I work during the week. However, my job does allow some flexibility to work from home so I may be able to care for your fur baby a day or two during the week. I am willing to rearrange my work schedule to accommodate your fur baby. Please note that the latest boarding pickup time is 8 PM. Additionally, I volunteer at Forsyth Humane Society where I walk the sweet dogs waiting to find their forever home. Policies & Procedures What to bring when your dog stays in my home Vaccines: All dogs that participate in daycare or boarding in my home must be at least 16 weeks old and remain current on Rabies, Distemper/Parvo and Bordetella vaccines.  The Rabies vaccine is required on all dogs by law and dogs will not be admitted in my home if their Rabies vaccine is expired even by just one day.  While the law does not require the Distemper/Parvo and Bordetella vaccines, I strongly recommend that any dog receiving services in my home is current on these vaccines and I reserve the right to deny admission to any dog if these vaccines are not current.  Please be aware that the Bordetella vaccine takes several days to be effective, so I recommend that dogs receive their vaccines at least 7 days before attending daycare or boarding.  Also note that some dogs can exhibit symptoms of Canine Cough or Bordetella from receiving the vaccine. Additionally, I require proof of flea prevention to prevent flea infestation in my home and other boarders. Please send me your dog’s vaccination records from a licensed veterinarian at the time of the booking request and each time your dog’s vaccines are renewed.  Vaccines that are not administered by a veterinarian can not be accepted because I can not confirm the proper dosage, storage, and administration of those vaccines. Please add your veterinarian contact information to your dog's profile as I may need to contact your veterinarian in order to clarify or confirm records. Leash: For the safety of everyone, all dogs are required to enter and exit my home on-leash.  Medications: If your dog is taking any medications, be sure to bring them in the original bottle.  This is a state requirement and it ensures that I can provide accurate information to a veterinarian in the event of an emergency.  It is helpful if you can provide clear written instructions for administering your dog’s medications in your dog's profile. Food: Please bring your dog's food and any treats you may give him/her. Toys: Feel free to bring any toys that your dog likes to help him/her feel more at home. I do have toys that your dog can play with as well. Promotional Material Pictures and videos taken during your pets' stay are part of my Rover business and may be used for promotional purposes. Rover Guarentee "[T]he Rover Guarantee is our commitment to you in the rare instance that something goes wrong during a booking. We offer the Guarantee because we believe that being there for our community is a fundamental part of what it means to be The Dog People." Read on for specifics here: https://www.rover.com/rover-guarantee/ Risks While I strive to achieve a safe environment for all dogs in my home, I cannot prevent accidents, injuries, illnesses or changes in behavior.  By bringing your dog to my home, you accept these risks and you release me from all liability arising from the occurrence of such events. Just as when you send a child to school, dogs can get colds, coughs, stomach bugs and other contagious diseases. Just as your child’s school does not pay for doctor’s visits when your child is injured or becomes sick, I do not pay for vet bills if your dog becomes sick or is injured while with my care. Two of the more common contagious diseases are Canine Cough and Puppy Warts. Thank you!

Dana was absolutely wonderful! This was Jules’ first time staying at Dana’s. She kept us updated everyday with messages, photos and videos. Jules had a blast playing with her dogs. She took Jules for walks as well. She made the whole process on Rover easy and was a delight to work with. We will definitely contact her again. Debbie

Dana did an awesome job. She is so lovely and really good with our dog, Hobie. She took the time to have our dog and her dog meet before the scheduled visit. She did a great job with communicating with us and took tons of pictures and videos to let us know that Hobie was doing well. We will definitely be using her again in the future.

Dana was amazing with our husky. She sent a lot of updates, photos and videos throughout the stay and was flexible with drop off and pick up. She is a huge dog lover and kept my pup safe and happy. She went above and beyond with walks and even brushing his hair. I highly recommend her.

I have left my little guy with Dana for a few weekends now and she has been amazing! She sends timely updates throughout the days of care, goes on multiple walks a day, and provides all the love and attention as you would to family. He absolutely loves Dana and I would 11/10 recommend her for any of the Rover services she provides.
