Pet care experience
Hi there, I'm a medical student at IU School of Medicine looking for a job that fits my schedule and this seems perfect for that. I work/study at home all day so taking care of a dog/cat/pet while doing that would be extremely easy. I actually moved to Fort Wayne from California with my 17 year old dog who unfortunately passed away last October, but I mention that because I'd study at home all day while hanging out with him and walk him around my apartment complex (that has a dog park) during my study breaks so I think I'd be in a great position to take care of your pups. I had a Jack Russell Terrier beforehand so I'm used to a very active dog, although he was calmer in his old age, but welcome all breeds. Our family also has a Siamese cat named Kalua back home that I love so I feel comfortable taking care of cats as well. If you have any questions please don't hesitate to ask!

Dan was wonderful with my senior doggie. He was thorough about my doggie’s special needs/how to help my doggie. I would recommend Dan if you need a pet sitter.
We had Dan watch our 1 year old Dachshund /Yorkie mix puppy for a week and we were very impressed with Dan. Super nice guy and you can just tell he loves dogs! Well Dan took real good care of me again! He stayed in touch with my mom,Susie he even sent her pictures of me so she wouldn’t miss me so much. I even had a little playmate this time which was really fun. I love my walks with Dan. I hope I get to see him again real soon. Thank you Dan!
I just can’t praise Dan enough. I’ve used Rover before and I’ve always been happy. My little 3 yr. old multipoo has never had a male sitter so I didn’t know how she would react to Dan. The first night she was very anxious and barking more than ever. I was certain I was going to cancel my trip,. Dan reassured me it would be ok and it was. He was persistent at sending me updates and pictures, wonderful’ Dan took her on runs:walks daily and she loved it! She was so calm when I brought her home and again the following day. I guess I’m going to need to start walking her, good for her and me, It’s so reassuring to leave your loved one with someone that cares as much as you do.❤️

I'd like to know whether your dog is aggressive because I'd rather not take care of dogs who may be more difficult in this regard because I don't want to cause him/her anymore stress than they'd already have given their owner is gone.
A typical day
I live at Canterbury Green Apartments which has a lot of grassy areas as it's a golf course. It also has a dog park so your dog will definitely be entertained here. I study at home and would love to have a dog around to pet and play with on my study breaks so I think your dog would have a great time here.
