I had a very challenging rescue dog for 10 years, and miss having a furry friend to take on walks and hang out on the couch with. Due to a lot of work travel, I don't have the time to be a dog owner again right now, but would love to watch your pup when you're out of town.

Home services will be in a 4 bedroom house in Simsbury without any other occupants (human or canine!) Dogs are OK on all the furniture, beds, floors, wherever, and there is a sizable front and back yard for potty breaks. If you dog is up to it, I'm always ready to take an hour long walk to get the day started, and to tire out your pup if I need to leave them unattended at home to run errands.

I work full time Monday-Friday, but can work from home on Thursday/Friday for extended weekend sitting. My house is very dog safe, but has hardwood stairs which can be challenging to navigate for older dogs. It's in a neighborhood with minimal traffic and lots of woods for chasing squirrels and marking new trees!
