Pet care experience
I have owned and trained horses, dogs and other animals for over 5 decades. When I was 12 yrs old I walked Zeus a 160lb Great Dane, for 3 yrs, we became best friends. Today is April 27th 2023. I have been on Rover now for almost a year. I was just made aware that by not disclosing that I require a meet and greet, that I was wasting someone’s time. So, if you’re not able to do a proper meet and greet with me and my fur babies we will not be a good fit. Sorry to be so direct. I don’t want to waste anyone’s time. Thank you for understanding.

Cait had a wonderful time during her staycation with Dan and Geronimo. It is always a great comfort to know that she is well cared for.
Dan took wonderful care of my dog. She was clean and happy when I picked her up after a full week of hanging out at Dan‘s house. She ate well and got attention.
We were very happy with Dan. We kept out 15 year old, demanding Yorkiepoo with Dan over a long weekend. He communicated and sent pictures throughout the stay. He certainly knows dog. We would it definitely use him again.
We were thrilled with Dan's care of Cait over the Christmas holidays. Because Cait has some medical/medication needs that require closer attention than is possible at large stay facilities or in homes where many dogs are boarded, we trusted Dan to provide that care. He did that and more He checked in with us daily, sending photos of Cait who clearly was being treated like a queen. Dan's experience, professionalism, and caring made him the ideal person for us and for Cait. Our holiday travels were made comfortable knowing our girls was in the best hands possible.

A typical day
Retired and reliable, making me available to you and your animal family. I was 12 years old when I took my first dog walking job, Zeus a Great Dane outweighed me by 35 pounds. He belonged to my church Chaplin, because of Zeus I fell in love with Great Danes. I ended up showing my own Great Dane, Thor, who became an AKC champion. I am now the proud owner of a 1 year old Miniature Schnauzer, Geronimo, who I am training to become a certified service animal. While, not blessed with children of my own, I have made animals my children. I have rescued dogs, cats, horses, and parrots for over 5 decades. Your pets will find me to be a loving companion. I feel blessed with the ability to communicate with animals, hence my title Dr. Dan Doolittle. I look forward to providing you and your pets dependability and great service. I enjoy teaching dogs new games. Like fetch and tug-of-war. I always make sure that they win. It gives them confidence and makes them enjoy the game that much more. I’ve studied animal husbandry and really enjoy interaction with my fur buddies.

I am retired and have dedicated myself to full time dog sitting. I am available 7 days a week,morning and evening. And thru all holidays.My business hours are from 8Am-8pm.
