Pet care experience
As a lifelong dog-lover, I have a great level of excitement for the opportunity to take care of dogs. I was the owner of a dog for 6 years and have dog-and-house-sat for family friends on and off for the past 4 years. I am very active, so I would be more than willing to take your dog to parks and open areas for exercise and enjoyment, should you desire. I live in a two-story house in a residential area of the outer Sunset district, which is surrounded by several parks, green space, and the beach. I am available every weekend full-time, and I am willing to both host dogs at my house as well as dog-sit at your residence. I am a certified EMT, and I know how to perform CPR for dogs.

Extremely pleased with Dan's responsiveness and attention to detail. He was able to roll with the punches on a very last minute booking. And, he took excellent care of my two senior pups - one with medical issues, the other with some rescue-dog behaviour problems. I'd heartily recommend Dan and hope he's available for future bookings.
Dan is always great with our 3 beloved dogs, who vary from a tiny shih tzu to a 90-lb golden retriever. He has taken them on walks and runs, plays, and feeds them whenever my husband and I have to work late and need some extra help to make our pups feel loved. Our dogs never feel inferior to our 5 kids when Dan is around! He always shows up to our home on time and with a positive attitude; the dogs are always waiting at the door, so excited to see him! He even comes prepared with his own treats and dog bags! Would highly recommend Dan to any of those busy moms out there looking for someone to help with the craziness of dog parenting!

A typical day
I can take your dog on walks along the beach, through Stern Grove park, through Golden Gate park, or around Lake Merced. There are a couple open green areas around my house that are not very congested where I could bring your dog to exercise and play. I love a good game of catch, so playing fetch would be a treat for me. I have also been known to give the best belly rubs in the business. I also have several friends with dogs, and we could take them out together, if your dog is friendly with others.
