Your dog gets our attention and is not in a kennel, they stay in our home with us. Dogs are wanted here and they always know it. We have taken care of well over 100 different dogs in our home between rescues, boarding and our own. We enjoy them and are very good at making them comfortable, quickly. Pet CPR / First-Aid certified. Puppies, seniors needing assistance, daily meds., from toy to giant breed we like them all. Plenty of one on one with us and play time with our dog(s) in our 3/4 acre fenced area. A daily one hour leashed hike is also part of our routine and of course an after dinner dogie massage / lap time to relax for the night. All playtime, exercise, toys, attention and grooming are size, energy level and age adjusted to fit your dog's needs. For highly anxious, timid dogs and seniors we turn the pace down a notch making them relaxed and comfortable. We do not use crates or cages unless your dog is more comfortable in a crate. Most dogs like the dog beds in our kitchen but some prefer a dog bed in our bedroom. They are treated like our own while here and we make them very comfortable. A huge relief from the stress dogs have when left at a crowded kennel. If your dog does not want to leave here, don't be upset. Drop off and pick-up times are not limited so there is no need to rush home before the kennel closes. Pick-up and drop-off service is available. Please note, we ARE NOT a kennel so plan WAY ahead to save the date you need. LIMITED SPACES AVAILABLE. We want to ensure that each and every dog receives personalized care and the individualized attention that they deserve while on their vacay. A meet-n-greet visit is required before a booking will be accepted. Please plan ahead to allow enough time! WALKING / CHECK-IN VISIT SERVICE: Walking in your own neighborhood with play time and water refill while you're away or working. Custom quoted discount available for multiple days. DAYCARE SERVICE: Drop-off as early as 5:00 am and pick-up by 7:00 pm. PLEASE NOTE: guests must be up to date on vaccinations, flea prevention and must be spayed or neutered if over 1 year old. Please ask for details. We do not provide boarding for cats. For cats we offer feeding and care visits to your home while you travel.

Dan and Elaine are awesome dog sitters! Loretta was happy to go back to see them. They are adept at managing the dogs of which they never have more than 4 and don't use crates- only their own pillows- we give them a big thumbs up!
DogVacay connected us to Dan who lives not to far from us. And, WOW did we hit the jackpot! We knew at the meet and greet that this house was full of love for dogs, and would be a great place for our dog. We enjoyed a week away without having to worry about our dog- and that is priceless. Dan and his wife were patient as our dog adjusted to their house. They shared photos of our dog playing with their dogs and updated us through the week. The kids felt like our dog was on her own vacation. We are so thankful for the care, attention, and love they showed our dog. Without question, we recommend and will use again!
We were afraid to leave our Snoopy at a Kennel, just the idea of having him spending time alone was killing us. We were so happy when we found Dan. He and Elaine are very nice people and love dogs. They were very accommodated with our needs as we needed to take an early flight. We felt comfortable leaving our Snoopy with them. Definitely, we will you use them again. Thank you Dan!
Cooper had a great time here! He was able to spend a lot of time in the huge backyard playing ball. Got pictures while I was away so that was nice!
