Pet care experience
My educational background - a BA in Integrative Physiology, experience with pets, certification in Animal CPR, and love for animals of all kinds, make me a wonderful candidate to provide exceptional care for any and all types of wonderful pets. I have years of experience caring for a wide range of animals, from common house pets to more exotic ones - including running my own Bearded Dragon breeding business (Buff Beardies) and owning a variety of reptiles and birds. My number one priority is making sure that your pets have a safe and fun experience, and receive the best care I can possibly provide for them! All animal requests are welcome and I am happy to provide additional services such as bathing and grooming and various chores around the house during my visits. I look forward to caring for your loved ones!

Damian was wonderful with our two pups. We went out of town and he stayed with them at night, and checked on them frequently throughout the day. After each visit we recieved picture and text updates, which puts your mind at ease when you leave your "children" with someone else. I knew my pups were in good hands. It is helpful to know how your pet does with other animals and other humans, and what type of commands, motions, etc. they are accustomed to when encountering either. As well, I like to know if they have any other habits to be on the look-out for - like bolting after rabbits, being afraid of crosswalks, toy aggression etc. The more I know, the easier it is to build a trusting bond with your pet! Any and all breeds are welcome, and I do not have a fear of any breeds. I have always had a special spot in my heart for pit bulls and larger dogs like Saint Bernards, but have plenty of love to share for all.
A typical day
I like to tailor my visits to each animal's individual character and their likes and dislikes. If they have a ton of energy I'm happy to take them for a run. If they are older or just more on the mellow side, I'm just as happy to go for a leisurely stroll. Fetch, chase, tug of war, rough housing and whatever else may be on your Pet's mind are all fair game! If you would like your pet(s) to get more socialization and/or more activity I am happy to take them to local dog parks or on extended hikes.
