Pet care experience
I’m a rescue furmama to a 11 year old yorkie /beagle mix, 10 year old beagle 5 year old Border Collie/Australian Cattle Dog mix ans 1 year old Aussie/Chow mix. I absolutely love shelter dogs and the concept of adopt don’t shop. I have fostered over 100 dogs in the past and am use to all breeds and personalities. Also I’m a 911 Dispatcher so not do I only work 15 Days a month but I’ve got a very open schedule during the week! This does mean I have an alternating schedule but can usually make late evenings work and day as well.

I do ask if your dog has any behavioral issues to let me know ahead of time to better prepare for any pet visits. I have a strict rule of no random meets with other pets on walks. Also if you choose to have me take your dog hiking with mine I will require a meet and greet beforehand and a harness for better control since I will use a waist belt to prevent any darting.

If your dog will be staying in my home I do require meet and greets with my dogs just to make sure they get along. Also I understand accidents happen (especially in new environments) but I do require dogs and puppies to be house trained to not eat my furniture unless you would like them to be crated when not supervised.
A typical day
I have a fenced in yard and the dogs will have run of my downstairs with a room full of toys. Plus they automatically have 3 other dogs to play and cuddle with during the day. While at my house the dogs go on 1-2 1-2 mile walks per day and during warmer months there is a dog park in my community. Also if staying for the full day or extended Starbucks trips might be in store for them! While the dogs do have the roam of the house normally the first day or so I can crate your dogs or mine (I have 4 crates of various sizes) while I’m out of the house while the pack dynamic is established just for safety.

I have an alternating schedule so I do pet care on a part time basis and tend to be a repeat client for clientele that need just once a day check ins or just a few walks throughout the week.
