Pet care experience
I grew up with dogs my entire life, from owning my own of all sizes (Poodles to an 80 lb yellow lab), to even "rescuing" stray dogs I'd see on the street - mom wasn't too happy! I recently lost my 13 year old lab, and while I can't have my own pet at this time, it doesn't mean I don't have enough love and attention to give every other dog. I am more than happy to help keep pets happy, entertained, active, and cared for, while their owners are away!

My dog Doodles had a great time with Dalit, think they explored more of Chicago than I have yet! Very friendly and quick to respond, plus received plenty of updates/photos while away. Would highly recommend her the next time your pup needs a sitter.
Dalit has always been great with dogs and loves them all. She would take wonderful care of anyone's pet and would provide them with all of the love and attention that they deserve.
Dalit has a natural connection with animals in general. She has a special and strong attachments to the canine and equine species. As a matter of fact, if she had the opportunity, she would be adopting every single doog in need. She'd be happy to go hungry if necessary just to feed a starving dog. In my humble opinion, she is a great candidate and example of unconditional dog lover.

I love ALL dogs. However, I grew up with large dogs my entire life. Having said that, I'd need to know how your dog, especially a large dog, interacts with other animals and children, and if there any particular things, people, pets, or places that make your pet nervous or anxious. I even love hyper active dogs and puppies, and will do my best to make sure they are never bored!
A typical day
I know there is nothing a dog likes more than being outdoors and exploring. There will be a LOT of walking, checking out the smells of the neighborhood. If there is a park nearby, we will go to the park and play with balls and toys - unless of course your dog is social and wants to play with other dogs! If I walk your dog a few times, I will make it a priority to switch up the routes so that your pet does not get bored, and is always exploring new things!
