I've always grown up with a dog in the house and can't imagine one without. My first dog was an English Setter named Reggie and he lived with me until he was 17 years old. I've always thought of myself as a large dog person, but my wife and I rescued a 4 pound Yorkie named Todd ten years ago, and he's been our world ever since. In late 2020 a collarless dog quite literally jumped into my wife's car in the middle of the night and we temporarily named him Carl. After an entire month of contacting the humane shelter, posting pictures online, and even going door to door we still had no leads on finding his owners. We couldn't fathom giving Carl up, so we took him in as one of our own. Carl’s now our clumsy, loveable, top-notch cuddler, large dog…with an even larger heart. My wife and I love being around and spending time with dogs. We recently relocated to Texas for our work, and look forward to watching your furry friend(s)! Carl assumes all dogs are his best friends and Todd will usually keep to himself. I work from home full-time so your dog will be supervised all day. I have watched multiple sizes and breeds of dogs, so please rest assured your companion(s) will feel right at home!
