Flexible Sitter For Your Dog!
Pet care experience
I don’t think being a dog person and a people person are mutually exclusive. Whether you have two or four legs, or an odd number of legs, I am excited to learn more about you. And I really believe dogs are a reflection of their human counterparts––so it’s really important for me to get to know both of you to get the full picture and provide the best possible service. It’s really true that dogs and their owners start to resemble each other and nothing puts a bigger smile on my face than seeing a human-dog pair walking down the street. Growing up there were always lots of dogs and cats in my life, so my fondness for all kinds of animals is deeply rooted. I love how each animal has his or her unique personality, and uncovering each one is such a joy. I’ve cared for dogs and cats for many years and have also volunteered at animal shelters in the past. I’m open to all breeds, sizes, ages, and temperaments, but have extensive experience house sitting for Yorkies, Vislas, Golden Retrievers, Dachshunds, and adorable mutts. I have a very flexible and open schedule, so caring for your pup will be my number one priority. Please don’t hesitate to contact me, even if it’s last minute! It’s a privilege for me to care for your beloved pet, and I’ll do everything in my power to make sure they are happy, safe, and healthy. It’s true that most people love dogs, but not everyone is meant to care for them in my opinion. Like children, dogs need constant attention and reinforcement as much as love and fun. I’m patient and thoughtful, and I really love playing with dogs and getting creative with games. Being around dogs just makes me happy. Given my many years of dog care experience, I’m comfortable administering medications and following a very strict schedule, depending on your dog’s individual needs. When I commit to working with you and your beloved pet, I will be a surrogate parent, not just some random dog sitter. I will do my best to really connect with your pup and spend as much time with them as possible, not just because it’s my job but because nothing makes me happier than sharing a space with dogs.

Daley was exactly what we needed and took such good care of our pups!! Thank you so much :)
Daley did an awesome job watching our pups while we were away! I received daily pics and she kept me posted on how they were doing. We'd definitely have her pet sit again!
Daley came to watch my puppy while I was at work. I’m so pleased with how she took care of my puppy and sent lots of pictures! I can already tell my puppy loved it too!
Daley was fantastic!! She is great with puppies! I know Bandit had a blast during her visit!!

Meet and Greets are important, especially for clients that will be with me for a long time. I like to meet in a place the dog will automatically feel comfortable, like a park, and have the owner walk me through what they think are the most important things to be aware of. Being in a public space also allows me a better chance to see the dog interact with other dogs, people, and the environment. Knowing allergies and eating schedules are important, as is general temperament and triggers. I don't have breed preferences, but it will be helpful for me to know what I’m working with. And to help make the separation easier, I will take tons of photographs and videos and am happy to send them your way.
A typical day
I am always open to exploring new places. I love hiking in American Fork Canyon and driving around looking at the scenery of the Salt Lake and Utah Valley. I do these things very frequently. Dogs are always welcome to join me! I have a flexible schedule so I’m pretty much game for anything. I would love to take your dog for a run, a walk, or just to sniff around the block then come back and relax on the couch while cuddling up with a good book or a movie.
