A service that I wished was available when I was looking for dog walkers was more of a dog runner. My dog is super athletic and benefits more from higher pace exercise. Now that I'm in school for Engineering at UVA, I have a little weekday and a lot of weekend time to exercise with your dog. This could be through a light jog, a fast walk, intermittent run/walk intervals, or more depending on your dog's level of fitness. I'll monitor your dog's condition to make sure it doesn't over exert itself as well. Most of my dog experience comes from training my rescue over the past few years. I took a couple months of dog training classes to get started, and learned a ton through watching videos and reading books. My other experience comes from watching family and friends' pets. I'm 26 and live in Downtown Charlottesville. I'm an Eagle Scout from the Boy Scouts and go to UVA full-time. Additional services: 20 minute dog training. My dog is Canine Good Citizen Certified and an Intermediate Trick Dog, both through the AKC. Typically, training sessions are best in 20 minute increments after exercise.
