Pet care experience
When I was 13 years old, I had neighbors that would go away for a week every summer and I would be their go to for their young dog and their cat and fish. They would come to me for long weekends that they wanted to go away for also. I would check on him 4 or 5 times a day, take him on walks around the neighborhood and I would stay and play with him before my mom wanted me home. My brother and sister took over when they were about 14 so they could earn a little since I was working. After I started doing this every year, I made flyers and hung them up around my neighborhood for pet and house sitting and dog walking. I had cats my whole life, I'm 27, so I have lots of experience caring for cats. While I had a broken foot, I had some friends from my gym go away and need care for their two pups. I realized how much I enjoyed it, that I had signed up for Rover. In 2021 I took some time off of Rover because I was finishing school and wasn’t in the area, but I’m back and I would absolutely love for you to let me love your pets, especially during the upcoming holiday season!

Dale was a wonderful dog sitter. He did every thing I asked, took great care of the dogs, sent photos, left the house in good order, and I would hire him again in a minute.

Dale was simply one of the best! I was in a jam for the holidays and Dale stepped right in like he’s been watching my dogs the whole time. He was very communicative, asked questions when needed, and took great care of my pups. Would highly recommend him!
Dale is an amazing dog sitter! I have had a really hard time finding someone to watch my dog Oliver because he has a lot of social anxiety and is scared of most things. I have even had dog sitters quit while I am on vacation! Dale however was the exception! He was incredibly patient with Oliver, and I could tell he was not judging him at all for his social barriers and was instead taking the time to understand him. In just a short while, Oliver was snuggling with him in his lap and was a super happy dog (sans anxiety) while we were away. I highly recommend Dale for petting sitting, especially if you have a rescue who needs a little more TLC.

When walking dogs, I make sure they are leashed and that they are to the inside so they don’t try to run into the road. If there is as fenced in yard, I can play freely with the pets and make sure they are safe.
