Pet care experience
I found out about Rover through a friend and realized it was the perfect job for me; I grew up raising dogs, there’s never been a point in my life where I didn’t have them. I currently have two of my own plus 3 kitties and I love them to pieces, we’re always on the move. ; I love taking them for walks and runs along trails, and always try to make myself available to do so. When I’m not walking with my dogs (or yours) I’m making sure they’ve got everything they need, (food, water, toys, medicine, snuggles, tender loving care) and are absolutely comfortable and happy. I am usually very available to get in touch with, and my schedule is extremely flexible. My partner Vincent works alongside me as well! They will be with me during most of the walks! Feel free to reach out for their Rover profile as well! I just moved out into my own apartment for the first time, and we are excited to start and be working with you! Dakota was great! We had Dakota take our dog on two walks per day three days in a row. Super communicative, on time, and Rosie instantly fell in love. We’ll definitely use Dakota again!
Dakota has been amazing! I have a hectic work schedule sometimes and she is so easy to contact, has tons of flexibility to cover down when I’m unavailable last minute and is so amazing with my dear Sasha. My aging pup has anxiety when I’m not home and Dakota has hand-fed her multiple times to get her to eat when I’m away. She brings her treats and provides detailed notes about my pup’s emotional state. If you’re looking for reliability, flexibility and someone who loves animals, you should reach out to Dakota.
I was gone for two months while my active duty husband had to take care of our dog. He went to work early 5am in the morning and returns later in the afternoon and since the base is far from our house, he couldn't come to our house in between to check on our Hodu. And she didn't like going to daycares because she doesn't like other dogs very much...so we asked Dakota to come to our house and take Hodu out for walk almost everyday whenever my husband was out. She was fantastic! She followed my instructions and took care of Hodu very well. Fast and super communicator and Hodu LOVED her so much! She is very sweet and truly loved our Hodu like her own. I highly recommend her to anyone who needs a dog walker or sitter!

A typical day
A typical day usually looks like spending the morning with my own dogs, before heading off to work with yours! I come home in between clients to spend time with my pups, and I love exploring new places with our animals! It’s nice to live in a place with such beautiful nature outings to take all of the lovely dogs I meet!
