Hi! My name is Dakota and I've been around dogs all of my life. One of my earliest memories is walking the family Rottweiler on my own when I was just a tot. Since then, I have taken care of dogs that have had surgery, needed medication, that have anxiety and those that need a gentle, welcoming hand due to a rocky past. I have also cared for dogs with sensitive stomach, arthritis, and hip dysplasia. Presently, I am a stay at home mom. With a fairly flexible schedule, I am home and ready to play, walk, or snuggle with your fur baby. My daughter will need to accompany me on most if not all visits. Please be honest about your pet’s tolerance of children under 5. My goal is to give pet-parents piece of mind while their loved ones are happy and safe , being loved as if they were my own.

Dakota is so amazing with animals. She took care of our Labrador as if he was her own. Our Splash got so much attention, and we always got awesome pictures of their time together. (We now how 94 adorable Rover pics of Splash and Dakota's adventures.) We can't recommend Dakota enough. Dakota is like family, and we are so grateful for all that she does. We are always in loving, capable, and caring hands, and we know our "baby" is well taken care of!

A typical day
I love watching dogs explore. We will take plenty of time to play, sniff all that there is to smell, and maybe get a pet-parent approved treat before I leave.

I am home Monday through Friday and most weekends. Occasionally I’m out of the house for pediatric appointments or other events but most frequently am home and ready to help!
