Pet care experience
Hello everybody, my name is Dakota I've been a full-time Rover caretaker since August 2020, and I have very much enjoyed the experience. I've worked with more than twenty different dog breeds as well as a couple of cat breeds. The services that I offer are boarding, check-ins, and dog walking. Try and let me know of the needed service as soon as possible because I attempt to accommodate everyone's requests. I grew up in a loving family atmosphere and still reside in the same moderately-sized house. My family has a large backyard, and this is where most of the interactive activities take place. I work with every animal differently based on their behavioral needs. Certain breeds display traits along the lines of being distressed, hyperactive, or protective while away from their owners. I attempt to keep them in a balanced state so they can maintain a calm demeanor to make the right choices. In my spare time, I'm with my nephews and nieces attempting to teach them valuable life lessons. In the future, I'm hoping to build long-term relationships with clients and allow my family to help out as they become older. The goal is to help them find a job that will bring a smile to their faces every day.

I can't say enough about how great Dakota was with our Snowy. He kept us updated daily with pictures and messages on how she was coming along. This being our first time leaving her with anyone we were initially nervous. However, he made us feel completely comfortable as time went on which allowed us to actually be able to enjoy our vacation worry free. He has a client "furever" in us ?

Every dog has varying needs, so a meet and greet session is always needed. We will chat about all of the important information during this time.
A typical day
When your family members stay with me overnight, I stick to a structured schedule to make sure they are occupied with activities to prevent homesickness. I take them on two walks within my neighborhood or at a local park in the morning and evening. In the afternoon, I play games with them in the backyard to enhance their patience, which allows them to focus on learning new vocal commands. All dogs are always given the same respect as humans, even if they are not properly trained. During the meet and greet, I'll ask and observe their behavior to ensure that they will react appropriately if they encounter another animal along the way. I'll also use my best judgment to take care of your family member if there are extreme temperatures. If the weather is not suitable, indoor play is the next best option. If there are any additional questions, feel free to contact me at any point in time, I try to respond as soon as possible.

Availability
I take a walk with every dog once in the morning and once in the evening. Afterward, we play and hang out for a few hours. In between those times, I have drop in visits and walks for my other clients.
