Pet care experience
My love for animals has no bounds. I've lived with and cared for dogs for most of my life and cats for half my life. I understand their needs & behaviors well. I've worked with rehabilitating my most recent dog, Riley, as she suffered a hard upbringing. Unfortunately, my two pups are no longer with me. I love the adventuring and interacting with my community/environment and I've almost always had a companion along with me for the journey. Seeing the smile and excitement on a dogs face is a sight that never gets old! I will take the time to understand your companions individual needs and allow them to become familiar with me at their own speed. I also offer plant care as my main line of work is with plants!

Dakota's love for animals is shown through his passion for being the best caretaker possible. He interacted with our dogs by not only exercising them but by providing them with the necessary attention they needed in our home. He has provided and cared for our dogs as if they were his own.

My apartment is of medium size, but we have a small yard and a garden that I tend to. I do have 2 cats that have grown up with dogs their whole lives, so as long as puppers is familiar with cats, I can accommodate them in my space. Right across the street is a giant open, fenced field we may run, play games, and catch the sun rays all day long. My neighbor hood is safe and quiet, great for animals that may be overstimulated easily. Plenty of shade to keep cool during walks! I will have the utmost respect for your home as if it were my own. I will prefer to meet before hand so that your companion and I may become familiar and comfortable with each other. I understand animals may be wary of strangers, inducing unnecessary stress. I want everybody to feel safe, open, welcome and loved.

Anything and everything I can! The more information the better so that I may best accommodate your companions needs. Specific needs, behaviors, their daily schedule, typical potty break times, any medications needed, meal prep information if applicable. Do they have a favorite toy or style of toy? How are they on/off leash and around other animals? Are they undergoing any current training?
A typical day
I love going for bike rides, going to beaches, wooded trails, playing fetch, cuddling, praising, and overall sharing my deep love for your furry family member! Under my wing they will immediately become a family member of mine as well and cared for as such.

Availability
I currently work part time during the week, but I am available during the evenings after 3pm and am flexible depending on how far in advance we may work something out! My job is flexible with me. My weekends are completely open. For any bookings, the goal is to remain as consistent with your current animals schedule as possible as I believe routine and consistency are very important to maintaining a happy, healthy companion.
