We had a very disappointing experience with Daisy and I can't recommend her at all. We found her to be dishonest and unreliable with poor communication skills. She neglected our dogs and showed a total lack of respect for our home. After a meet and greet and a trial walk with our dogs, we hired her for 4 days and 3 nights of housesitting. We provided extensive instructions well in advance of her stay. She assured us she would be at our house the majority of the time we were away and said she'd send updates and pictures. Upon returning, we discovered that Daisy spent very little time in our home. It was clear that our dogs had not been let out often enough or long enough. We found urine stains on our family room couch, family room rug, and Christmas tree skirt as well as multiple piles of poop around the family room. There was no evidence that any attempt was made to clean any of it. Daisy was supposed to be at our house from 8am Friday - 7pm on Monday. We checked the access logs for the house and learned that she left our dogs unattended for 8+ hours on 4 different occasions and for more than 10 hours once. From 8am Friday - until she left early at 5:21pm Monday, our dogs were let outside for just a few minutes each day. There's no evidence they were taken on the twice daily walks we discussed. On Friday, Daisy was only at our home for 20 minutes. She sent us multiple text messages with fake updates and answered direct questions dishonestly each day we were away.

Very irresponsible, did not follow through with requests and would not recommend at all. 2 cats/2 drop in visits 8/13-8/18, 1 drop in visit 8/19 a.m. - Requests discussed during in person meet & greet prior to sitting with additional detailed list left for sitter: scooping of litter boxes at least x1/day, medication at each visit, watering flowers and leaving key in mailbox on last day, 8/19. - Upon return: 1) litter boxes appeared to be not scooped for days 2) dirty pet bowls 3) garbage/recycling not taken out 4) cat vomit in multiple places, an indicator that my cat did not receive his medication 5) identical pictures sent to me on different days 6) house key was not left
