ABOUT ME: Hi Im Daisy! I'm 23years old and working with animals is something I am very passionate about. I have spent the last three years walking dogs on the Wag app, and absolutely love it! I don’t get dog boarding as much with that app so I wanted to try Rover! I’ve spent a cumulative 4 years volunteering at Clackamas County Dog services as a walker/caretaker of the shelter dogs! I like working with dogs of all shapes and sizes & love meeting new dogs and learning new breeds. I also now work for Dogtopia Lake Oswego as a canine coach, spending around 6 hours a day watching/ entertaining/ exercising and training dogs! I suffered a very harsh loss in July of 2019 when my terrier of 8 years stolen from me so I feel that working with dogs helps fill the hole in my heart. Eventually I will get another dog but for now I love to be around any dogs at all! ABOUT THE HOME: In my home we have a strict leash policy since it is a large community house separated by apartments on 3 levels. The dogs(or cats) will spend relax hours in my apartment and any time outside they will be with me on a long leash to avoid them wandering. The house is right on the Clackamas River and we have a massive yard for them to play in! Though not technically fenced in- being where we are on a hill next to the river, it's very hard for them to run off because of the bushes and trees that surround the yard creating a barrier. I've never had an issue with them getting out before! The owners of the house very recently had their two labs of 15 years pass away one after the other, so the house has had dogs in and around it for a long time without issues, but we currently have no dogs living here. I have one cat that roams the house but can be put into another room if there are any issues. I put the safety of your pets first no matter what! I know how it feels to lose a beloved pet or even leave them in others care so I take it as my utmost priority to have them feel safe and welcome, and ensure you are comfortable with leaving them with me.
