Pet care experience
I had a cat for 9 years, a little rescue who brought me lots of joy. After she sadly passed I have a void to fill so have been looking after other people's dogs/cats instead! I often help my friends who have a doggy care business taking them on walks, feeding and generally caring for them ensuring they have the best time possible. I’m an animal lover at heart and love spending time outdoors - dogs help with this! I look after some dogs weekly but, the days do change and I'm open to having multiple dogs providing the circumstances allow. I work from home and live in a house with a garden. I aim for your dog to feel like my home is there home - and will usually walk once on a morning or in the afternoon if they would like to join me. Let me know you're Dogs/Cats preferences or special requirements and I will do my best to provide and make sure they have the best stay. Any Questions, please don't hesitate to ask!

I have a walled/fenced garden with Astro turf so your furry friend can stretch their legs. I have a few parks nearby if they don’t like Astro so can take them out as and when. As long as they’re happy to sit by me whilst I’m working (which is usually upstairs) and a couple of walks a day does them we’ll get on just fine !

If your dog/cat is on any medication and you would like me to accommodate make sure to let me know prior and I will ensure they are cared for in the best way possible.
A typical day
I usually allow pet owners to bring whatever toys they like to play with and pick their favourite one to play with them. Or if they like balls I will make sure to take on on our walks. I know not all dogs are toy/ball orientated so if this is the case do let me know and I can find ways to make sure they have good stay with me. Their is a few dog parks nearby I like to walk in if not I do walk by the river or along my local cycle path to get some fresh air.

Availability
I work full time and 2 days a week in the office most of the time Tuesdays/Thursdays. This is slightly flexible but my main free days are Mondays-Wednesdays and Fridays during the week. Saturday and Sunday if I am in York I am open to looking after your pet if the circumstances allow!
