Pet care experience
I am completely enamored with dogs. I have a gorgeous 8 y/o golden/lab cross, who was bred by the Guide Dog Foundation for the Blind. Since becoming involved with GDF, I have welcomed countless puppies as young as 6 weeks-old in my home for 1-3 weeks at a time. On top of that volunteer experience, I am a reliable and trustworthy pet and house sitter, having stayed in people's homes and having boarded dogs in my home (these have been neighbors and work acquaintances). I am new to NYC and my heart aches to pet every dog I see walking on the sidewalk! I would love to have a dog of my own, but sitting for others dogs will have to do for now! I would seriously love to watch your dog (or cat)!

This was my first time using Rover and first time leaving my dog with anybody. I found Dafna excellent! She made sure my baby felt at home. Dafna sent an update each day with pictures and my baby looked relaxed and content. I would recommend Dafna and will use her again on my next vacation.

Dafna has watched my pets (and also my kids) in both my home and her home over the past 15 years. In that time she’s helped me care for my beagle, my retriever mix, my cockapoo, and wheaten terrier. She also assisted with a old-aged, blind golden retriever we were fostering. She’s in graduate school now to be an OT, so you can definitely trust her with your pets!
