Qualified? Passionate? Excited? I sure am. Between growing up on a ranch in north Texas, 5 years working for a veterinarian and working for the Amarillo, Tx zoo? Trust me, there's nothing I can't handle. I'm a 32 year old mom of two kids. One is 12 and one is 10. I just lost my husband, I am looking after all animals. So, I'm staying home and opening it up for pet moms and dads. Come on in! At the ranch, we had at least 2 dogs, indoor cats, barn cats, chickens, pigs, horses, cows, rabbits, ferrets, parakeets...wow, I think that's it. As you can tell, loving animals runs in our family. As of the moment, we had to put to sleep our Alaskan Malamute from cancer and we're not ready to adopt just yet. So taking care of your dog is pure joy for all of us! In the veterinary clinic, I learned to watch signs and symptoms, proper sterilization techniques, giving medicine in all different ways and forms, and so much more! I'm grateful for the knowledge I gained there. Now, there's nothing quite like feeding buffaloes, lemers, wallabies, spider monkeys and there were more but I can't remember them all! I learned how to do that at the Amarillo zoo. I hauled hay, cut up fruits and veggies and cleaned up lots and lots of poo! It was a life changing opportunity for me. So, what do you say?
