I am very, very honored to recommend Cynthia for dog sitting. Cynthia dog-sat (is that a word?) for me and my dogs for over a decade. They were all very active bird dogs (our lab Pete, our Irish Water Dog Tess, and our German Shorthair Pointer Eddy). They loved her, she loved them, and we always felt so secure in our travels knowing that she was taking care of them and our home. I doubt they even missed us much because of the fun they had with Cynthia. Cynthia is very responsible and amenable. She will carefully follow your instructions regarding walking/feeding/sleeping. She will also make sure your home is safe while you're away. I can't recommend her highly enough.
