I take my responsibilities as a cat / pet sitter very seriously, as I would want someone looking after my cats, to be like me!! I use common sense when in your property, am respectful, mindful and off course totally besotted with cat/s. To this end I have written a 6 page manual for the care of my cats. I go through this in detail with all those who cat sit for me. I will visit to: * meet and introduce myself to you and your pet (s)-this will be treated as a petsit visit *take detailed notes *familiarise myself with your exacting needs, property access etc ......... History: I've loved cats all my life and had a cat as a child. The moment when I met my cat as a child ...(with his georgeous eyes staring at me from under the bed were magical!🙀🐱) This has always stayed with me. I now have 2 cats of my own and the bond I have with them is truly gratifying and rewarding. I miss them terribly throughout the day when I'm away from them and equally spend quality cuddle and play time with them when I'm home. .......... Interesting fact: Whenever I pass a cat on the street, it will immediately roll over on it's back for me to rub it's belly, or rub up on my leg - this happens about 95% of the time! ......... Cat/pet sitting abroad Early Dec22, I was requested to look after 4 pets abroad, all paid trip to USA,Florida for a 3 legged dog (born disabled), another dog in his final years and 2 cats, - see pic of me with Cloe (the 3 legged 🐕) who captured my heart. .......... Public holidays: I am available for cat sitting on public holidays, however fee will be higher. ........ Grooming / medicating (cats): I am available for medicating and grooming cats, however fee will be higher. ......... Social media I can successfully start up the social media for your furry friend 🙂 as I have done for mine ......... Care and medicating experience: Can create a cat proof garden, I have looked after and medicated cats with: ear infections, cleaned cats ears, looked after cats with heavy polyps, cats that have been neutered, can come a cat, looked after a coned a cat, cat with tooth problems, cat that has come out of dental procedure, sorted a very matted cat back to its natural fur, can brush cats coats, I can ensure small matts are sorted immediately and don't become problematic, pilling of cats - steroids, administration of liquid medication, able to put cats in carrier and safely take to and return from vets, removing surgical bandages / the sticky adhesive used during surgery from their skin, watch a cats diet to prevent them getting overweight including introducing intensive fun play, safely taking them out of tight spots where they may have gotten stuck! Safely and responsibly dealing with infections (ears) in cats, dealing with cats that have polyps, cats who have had minor and major operations AND MORE! ........... I'm currently on a flexible work schedule and can plan my time around the pets and owners needs. I prefer mornings and evenings but can be flexible. Cat sitting comes naturally to me and is very relaxing. I understand cat phycology and am often found digesting lots of information on forums about...cats 😸 I also know how to give the cats space and time to get used to me whilst still being nurturing and loving to them. I'm very much looking forward to... looking after your pets as if it were you! I have created a garden which is cat proof (see picture of my cat in garden). Both my cats are neutered, very calm and LOVING. I am able to feed, cuddle, play with, use toys and follow any routine that is already in place.
