Your Pup's Fav Human (besides you)!

Pet care experience

Hi, I’m Cynthia, a HUGE pet lover, and my presence on Rover is driven by pure love and joy for furry 4-legged animals. I can't imagine my life without pets so here I am fulfilling that dream to take care of the best creatures on Earth. I am an independent teacher so I teach hour long virtual classes 2-3 times a week meaning I am home full-time. During the pandemic I've only been taking in repeat clients on a smaller scale but with the summer months here I am fully available to care for new clients. I prefer to take in one client at a time to devote all my attention. As for my accommodations, I live in a 3 story house in Queens in a very safe residential gated community. I am walking distance to the beach and two big public parks. I also have a cozy and spacious two-bedroom apartment conveniently located in the Lower East Side of Manhattan. With an indoor AND outdoor enclosed dog run and a grooming/spa facility, my apartment is super dog-friendly and provides many luxury amenities to pets. My apartment is walking distance away from South Street Seaport, FiDi, Chinatown and the LES so there are plenty of nearby parks, dog runs and enclosed outdoor patios to freely roam. Whether you're looking for an experienced dog walker or someone to care for your dog the same way you would (if not better), book my services today! I am very passionate about all things dogs and will be as flexible and accommodating to your dog's needs while in my care. My daily schedule is completely flexible to meet the unique needs of each pet and pet parent. I am an independent teacher so I teach hour long virtual classes 2-3 times a week meaning I am home the entire day to offer boarding, daycare, walks, etc. If I need to step out, there is always someone home to keep an eye on them or I can take them with me on dog-appropriate errands (owner permission required). My weekends are free as well and I do not make any external plans when I have clients - my full commitment and priority is caring for your pet! As I am able to offer all types of services, I prefer to take one client at a time (single or multiple pet family) especially for boarding. I will start with a meet-and-greet with my clients to get to know each other more personably, learn the quirks of the pet, and the routine of the pet and create the same schedule in my care. I am fully transparent in my care and will update at least twice a day with photos, videos and detailed messages. In my client's home, I will follow all instructions meticulously and have direct experience working with troubled clients who are reactive to visitors, when no one is home, etc.

Cynthia was very attentive and looked after my boy as if he were her own. She shared pictures and even videos 9f their day together to help ease this pup dad's anxiety. Will definitely book future sessions with her!

It was our first time using Rover for boarding and we fully entrusted Cynthia to take care of our puppy from the moment we met her at our meet & greet. Cynthia took Pepper on long walks each day and was very accommodating to Pepper's daily routine to ensure that her stay was as comfortable as can be. Cynthia also sent us updates with photos & videos each day which kept us assured that our puppy was happy and well taken care of! Cynthia was very easy to book with, flexible with hours, and a great host for our puppy. We highly recommend Cynthia's services. Thank you so much!

It was first family trip without my puppy. We worried so much if our puppy get depressed. Cynthia, she took care my puppy, Umi during the trip. She always sent me picture of Umi and let me know what Umi was doing before I asked her. Also she answered me back right away if I asked something. After we came back we picked up Umi from Cynthia, my puppy showed how much he loves to stay with Cynthia. My puppy did not want to say good bye to Cynthia. Cynthia is nice and warm person even to my family and my puppy. I am sure we will choose Cynthia as pet sitter for our puppy again! Thank you, Cynthia!!!

Cynthia is an excellent dog sitter! She regularly looks after my little Yorkie Maddie and my pup loves her. Cynthia is always on-time, provides regular texts and pics and takes great care of Maddie. I would absolutely recommend her to anyone looking for dog sitting services and will continue to use her in the future! Kyla J.

A typical day

All furry guests will be provided with lots of mental and physical stimulation through daily walks, off leash play and group socialization. Having experience with dogs of all different breeds, sizes, and temperaments, rest assured that I will offer you peace of mind and a fun-filled relaxing time for your dogs in their ‘home away from home.’ I am fully equipped to host all types of dogs, with tons of toys, treats, dog beds, crates, and a gated enclosure for puppies. Also, I will happily provide basic grooming like bathing, clipping nails, and brushing, both teeth and fur, upon request. Included in the boarding service, I will be happy to do basic and advanced obedience training including but not limited to: Heel, Sit, Down, Stay, Come. I'll also work on any behavioral issues your dog may have such as: Pulling on leash, Separation Anxiety, Possessiveness, Aggression, Fearfulness, etc. Finally, if you would like to impress your friends and family, I can teach your dog some new tricks. My family dog for example can do sit, down, stand, shake, heel, rollover, play dead, stay, wait (for food), high five, low five, crawl under, jump over, come, go to *person*, bow, fetch, and most importantly, kiss kiss! For added convenience, pick up and/or drop off service by car can be arranged for an additional fee. Please rest assured that all of my clients will receive text, photo and/or video updates - precious and memorable keepsakes of their time spent with their favorite human (besides you)! That way you can feel at ease knowing that your dog is receiving the best care possible, because they deserve no less.
