Dogs Over 1 Year Old
My dear friend Cynthia has a gentle heart and caring presence among both her two-legged and four-legged friends. She would make a wonderful dog sitter for anyone who needs to leave their furry treasure in someone else's care for a while. Any dogs that Cynthia might care for would be in doggie heaven, I am sure, with the lavish love and attention she would give them!
I met Cynthia six years ago as a co-worker. She had cats and I have cats. We traded cat stories and progress notes on a weekly basis. We became friends as well. Cynthia is a person of the highest integrity who I would trust with any animal. She gives animals the priority they deserve. In addition she is a bright, caring, loving and honest person.
Cynthia L. is a lover of dogs and cats. But, more than that, she is a kind, sensitive, and responsible person. She has decades of experience working with people in need of a calm, confident social worker. She has cared for my adult dog from time to time. Her backyard is totally enclosed. She regularly walks in her neighborhood and in nearby parks. She would be a wonderful dog sitter.
I'm retired, willing and able!
Are you familiar with the book "How to be Your Dog's Best Friend?" My family once owned a German shepherd from this book's setting -- New Skeet Monastery. She was a well loved member of our family. We had a daily routine of feeding, brushing, exercise and training which we all participated in.
I'm a compassionate person toward people and animals and sort of softhearted when it comes to dogs (and cats, too). I'd enjoy ...
What Cynthia would like to know about your dog
I want to know his or her care routines and preferences. If the dog has any problem behaviors when away from usual family members I'd like to know how to best handle them -- what has been successful. I don't really have a breed preference except that I probably couldn't handle a really large dog.
