Hello, I’m Cynthia. I have a single family home in Madeira, a husband, and two daughters (9 and 2). We would love to own a dog, but it’s just not the right time for us. But we love dogs and the fun presence they bring to a home. Both my husband and I had dogs growing up and love having them around. We would be over-the-moon happy to pet sit your pup. Your dog would get the loads of attention that they deserve because we don’t have a dog of our own to spoil! Lots of walks, belly rubs, and behind ear scratching is in your dog’s future if you let us sit for you! Please note that since we have a toddler, any dog we watch has to be gentle and not have any issues with small children.

Cynthia is a fantastic sitter. She is conscientious and works hard to make your pet have a good experience while their family is away. Molly is never nervous going to her house, and I am worry free when I must travel.
Cynthia and Norah dog sat our puppy for the second time and took absolutely amazing care of him. This was his first overnight and they did a great job of sending pics and updates and being patient with him for his first sleepover. He came back happy and tired from a stay full of fun and play. Would highly recommend this duo to take care of your fur family!
I can recommend with confidence both Cynthia and her daughter Nora to watch your dog. They were able to accommodate a last minute request for our Yorkie puppy and took great care of him. He came home a happy, fed, and tired pup. Extra kudos to Nora who established a great bond with him that he almost didn’t want to leave! Your dog will be in great hands with them. Highly recommend!

Dogs are leashed at all times when outside to keep them safe as we do not have a fenced yard. What this actually equates to is several mini-walks every day!

Please let me know if there are any issues I should plan for. It’s helpful to know if dogs tend to be protective over food/toys. I also like to know if your dog is prone to potty accidents so I can plan ahead of time.
A typical day
Norah, my 9 year old will play with your dog and give them lots of attention. When we are home, your pet will be out of their crate and be part of our family.

Availability
I work full time, but all dogs that board with us get a walk or potty break by me at lunchtime. Usually around 20 minutes long.
