Responsible dog lover

Pet care experience

I have loved animals even before my family adopted them. Since then, I have had dogs, cats and even rodents! I would love to help you take care of your furry friend. My family has adopted many older dogs who need a loving forever home to "retire" to, and I have been lucky enough to give four amazing dogs their last home. My aunt is a vet, and I believe that her passion for animals has influenced me heavily. Over the years of watching her and spending time with her dogs, I have learned about different breeds and more in depth information about dogs in general. In addition, I have had the pleasure of pet sitting for various neighbors' dogs of various breeds, ages and activity levels.

Communicative, and a great dog watcher. Cynthia has taken my dog on walks and has helped me pet sit quite a few times! My dog is a corgi so he's a crazy dog, yet she's so good and patient with him and he's always happy when she comes. I 100% trust her - she's helped take care of him for 5 days before, and has even been there for him while he was sick. I'm super appreciative of her and I would definitely recommend her for walks and pet sitting.

I booked with Cynthia for a one night stay for my dog Bentley while my boyfriend and I went whale watching to celebrate our anniversary. We were in Bellingham for the long weekend and didnt want to leave him alone in a condo all day. Though Cynthia does not have reviews, she seemed responsible and to have experience with animals, unfortunately that was not the case. We dropped Bentley off and in less than 15 minutes she texted me to tell me that my dog was crying and that I should come pick him up. I let her know that at a new person's house for the first time he takes some time to settle in and that if she plays with him and gives him pets he'll stop. She told me she had plans for the day and evening and that it wouldnt work out (not sure why she accepted the booking in that case). I told her again that we were going whale watching and that it's pre-paid for and we were halfway to Anacortes.... but again she asked me to come back meaning we missed the tour which we had been really excited about and wasted $200. I've had only great experiences with sitters on Rover however Cynthia is an inexperienced and unreliable sitter and I cannot recommend her.

Information Cynthia D. would like to know about your pet

I do not have any breed preferences. Before taking care of your dog I would like to know if they are food aggressive, have any separation anxiety, and how they do on a leash!

A typical day

With all of the trails and parks Seattle offers, there are endless opportunities for outdoor adventures. If you have an older dog, I am up for a short walk and taking them home or laying outside with them to make sure they get all the love and attention they deserve.
