With Open Arms Doggy Daycare

Pet care experience

Im here to make your pets feel at ease, comfortable and loved while your away. I will treat them like my own and respect your wants and wishes for thier stay in my home so we have a circle of trust between me, your pet and you the owner. With an open concept townhome, less than 1/2 a block from Veteran's Park, North Brunswick High School and plenty of grass and trees to sniff your dog will have ample space and time dedicated for 2 walks/day and many bathroom breaks. I have a gate to close off full range of the house in case your dog needs limitations of space but my home is pretty tidy and safe from hazards. Im reliable and keep to scheduled meals and medical needs and exercise. Oh! Let's not forget plenty of cuddling. My home is thiers while they stay here and I looking forward to meeting you and your furry friend! This is a career I have had for many years and has been a big part of my, my family and home life. We are a animal loving family and enjoy meeting and hosting new and repeat furry friends. I incorporate our routines and schedules around the needs of visitors. Dogs are a part of our daily life and my family life. It's a family affair and we love it. Because all pet have different routines and schedules my approach is more personalized. I offer a home style approach to dog care and aim to give them the comfort of a home away from. I focus on quality not quantity and limit the amount of dogs I host at one time so to create a environment that is safe, calm and happy for pets as well as my family. This style is typically more familiar and more comfortable for the pets I host.

Cynthia did such a wonderful job with Zoe. She received such great attention and care during quite a long stay. The frequent updates and pictures helped us rest assured that Zoe was happy.

Cynthia is absolutely amazing, not only with dogs but also with people. She's very quick to respond, super helpful, very patient, great at taking the time to explain any potential concerns, and provides daily updates in the form of detailed texts on how my puppy was that day (activities for the day, poop quality, interactions with other dogs, etc.) and pictures (poop pics if you ask for it otherwise, general interaction pics). I'm a first-time dog owner and this is also the first time I've been away from my puppy for more than 18 hours since I got her ~8 months ago, and Cynthia made me feel so comfortable with trusting her with my doggo - I knew she was safe and in Cynthia's good hands during the week she was boarded :)

Cynthia was very easy to work with throughout the entire process. She was quick to respond, clear in what she needed prior to boarding our dog (and my brother's dog), and clearly is very experienced. She made our weekend away stress free, sending updates to let us know how the dogs were doing and giving us peace of mind along the way. This was our first time using her, but we will certainly be using her services again in the future and recommend her to anyone else in need of someone to watch their dog children.

Cynthia is a fantastic dog sitter. Experienced dog lover, she provided 5 nights of joy to our dog. Nightly updates and photos were perfect and made us feel so at ease. Highly recommend

Information Cynthia C. would like to know about your pet

Having a complete and accurate profile on you pet is very important to me. It helps know what to expect, ensure we make a good match, evaluate their needs can be met and because this is a dog care business; match them well with the other pets I may be hosting as to ensure a safe and happy stay for all involved. Breed, spayed/neutered status, potty trained, leash trained, temperament, routine, medical needs, behaviors or challenges...these are all important to know in advance and more. Most often I like to have a phone conversation with pet owners to identify and learn a out my potential guest ahead of time and it give the owner an opportunity to know me better and what to expect. This is key for a successful and happy visit.

A typical day

My approach is personalized. So the routine you have at home I try to simulate. It is not always exact but close to. Feeding schedule, exercise and play times go based on what you pet does at home in order to keep them in a routine and happy. I do incorporate plenty of potty breaks to keep them happy and they love that.
