Pawprints of all shapes and sizes!

Pet care experience

I've never met an animal I didn't like. I rescued abandoned baby birds as a child, met my first feline bestie when I found her injured as a kitten, hiding in our wood pile. I've always communicated so easily with animals and got my first chance at working with them professionally as a vet tech in my early twenties. During that time, I learned about grooming, basic care, assisting with various surgery and administering shots and medication. Later on in my life when I moved to Florida, I got a job as a pet sitter and stayed with it for a year. I had so much fun with all of my clients, and they were like family. Now I'm getting back into pet sitting and would love to make new friends, offer a safe, reliable assistance and have fun doing it.

Cynthia takes care of our two dogs and is great with them, they love her! She is very dependable and keeps us appropriately updated. I would recommend her to my friends.

Cynthia is a dear friend of mine, and when she visits, my three cats are thrilled to see their "Aunt Cynthia" again! Cynthia is very attentive to the needs of animals. She's always checking to make sure that they have enough food and water and will take it upon herself to fill their bowls if she needs to. I've witnessed her wonderful rapport with dogs as well, who will listen to her gentle instructions to behave themselves -- it's like she speaks their language! Cynthia has offered to help groom my 18 year old elder Maine Coon and I intend to take her up on the offer as his fur gets quite matted at his age; I've seen how well she grooms her own cat and know she'll do a wonderful job. Anyone would be lucky to have someone like Cynthia take care of their pet, they can be secure that their fur babies are in kind and capable hands.

Relaible and trustworth, I've know Cindy for many years. If she says she will do something it's done. She loves her pets and all pets in general. She is an overall good person.

Information Cynthia B. would like to know about your pet

Every pet is different. I'm always going to want to know what their favorite interactions are, if they have certain things they dislike, any medical conditions I should know about, medications required and of course, feeding times and treat allocations. I have no particular preferences or reservations about dog or cat breeds. I love them all, though I will say that I am particularly fond of labradoodles and pit bulls.

A typical day

I love cuddles, having conversations with my clients, playing with them. Basically any interaction or just some quiet time together. I take cues from the individual on how they prefer to interact and I'm not one to push them to do anything they don't seem interested in or comfortable with. I also have experience with leash training, and I have a gentle but firm touch.
