Semi retired means dog happiness adventures! I adore mutts and Blockheads of any kind! I have Fostered and adopted Pitbull mixes mixed dog breeds. I am a writer. I have worked in science educational and social services. I love being outside and watching dogs play. I live in the Pleasant Valley neighborhood of Novato near Stafford lake. I am completely available for dog boarding and walking your dog. I am available at the last minute and available to meet you and talk ahead of a job. I have a highschool age daughter and my millennials are in college and working but come to visit sometimes. My elderly parents live in Bolinas. My husband Is semiretired but works mostly from home. We love all animals and welcome them in our home. We currently have a very old dog, who likes to watch the birds in the sun and sniff.

Cynara is wonderful. Her energy is just fantastic and I can tell she truly understands dogs. She took the time to call before the boarding session and learn about Charlie’s specific situation and needs. We did one “trial run” overnight boarding to prep for a longer planned boarding and it was great. Charlie quickly warmed up to Cynara and her lovely family and she took him on so many adventures! He has been sleeping soundly for the past 3 hours since we got home :) he clearly had fun. I also got plenty of photos and video updates! Thanks!!
Cynara and her family were an amazing help last minute with our dog River! Clearly passionate about pets and was communicative all day, even when I was off the grid! Highly recommend.
Wonderful! Definitely will use her again !

I love Pibulls and Pitbull mixes! I have fostered bite quarantine in Protective Custidy dogs frequently from Marine Humane when they are not at their Pen Pals program folks at San Quentin. But would not be fostering these or others if I have a Client’s dog. I prefer long outings and walks on the isolated point Reyes seashore.
A typical day
Long dog walks that in I’ve during to the Point Reyes seashore or the wilds of west Marin or climbing Little Mountain. Then, Writing time in the studio with the dog in the back yard.

Availability
Dog boarding and walking is at the top of my life list. I enjoy the 1 to 2 hour long hikes I take with dogs in nature and then enjoy cuddling with them on the couch by the fire in the evenings with my family.
