I've taken care of different types of dogs and cats over the years. I love pets! While in college I pet sit for friends when they had puppies or overzealous dogs who preferred being home with a person. It even led me to getting my own dog, Cali! I got Cali when he was only 6 weeks old and had to readjust things in my life to make sure he was thriving and a happy puppy. He used to sleep with me every night. I remember one time, he woke up earlier than me and he tore apart one of his stuffed animals. I woke up, still in a haze, and thought my dog was floating on clouds. lol. It was never a dull moment with him. Cali was trained to follow simple commands and was walked regularly to combat all the energy he had. I gave Cali to a loving family when I graduated from school. I was not able to have pets at my apartment when I moved back home. That was a sad day but I have helped care for a lot more pets since then.
