My dog is not on island, he is in my hometown on the mainland, however, I love dogs and I've always had dogs so I have a large amount of experience playing, feeding, and overall interaction with dogs. From birth to around 9 or 10 years old My family owned a Black Lab/Rottweiler mix that was 130lbs and looked like a Newfoundland and a mutt they adopted when I was under a year. We then got two Labs, a Chocolate and a silver who were around 120-130 lbs each, when I was 11. I used to dog sit for my neighbor's rambunctious and attention seeking dogs (I stayed over at night and most of the day). My silver lab is a 125 lbs dog who is terrified of everything, so I do have experience dealing with skittish and/or easily scared dogs.
