Your Friendly Neighborhood Dogsittr

Pet care experience

Watching dogs and other pets has been an adjacent job and favor I do for family/friends in recent years. My family didn’t get a dog until I was in highschool. However I enjoyed babysitting, doing landscaping, and often ending up taking care of multiple animals for neighbors throughout my childhood. I have no veterinarian experience besides the occasional bandage/splints for old-timers or cut-up dogos. What may set me apart is I’m more than willing to simply care for your animal as needed, but also help with other supplemental tasks, and errands. I provided services through Rover for a year during my early college career, received great reviews, and developed to great client relations. I’ve just finished my undergraduate education at BSU. I’m a Pre-med student and minored in both Psychology and Chemistry. I am persuing other things and have a fairly busy life. But my schedule is very workable in order to fit your needs and I’d love to help out when I can. I have a house centered in Meridian, so I have access to all parks and trails in the immediate area or Treasure Valley. I drive a Ford Fusion and keep both it and the house spotless when possible. We have a cat and one of my other roommates does Rover as well so there would be lots of pet people around any time I’d need to take them to my home.

We were completely satisfied with our experience with Cutler watching our animals for over a week. He was very responsive to our messages and requests. Our house was very clean upon our return and our animals were happy. We recommend Cutler!

I book through Rover because I have had consistent quality care from previous sitters. I chose Cutler based on reviews, and I would be remiss if I failed to share that I did not have the same 5 star experience seen on his profile. While I would trust Cutler to walk someone's dog, I don't think I could recommend him for pet sitting in your home. We had trouble receiving communication from him, he was forgetful of basic, agreed upon pet care, and a neighbor had to intervene due to a fire hazard in our home caught on the pet cam. While it was an accident on Cutler's part, he chose to ignore it. This hazard was also an energy expense that has incurred charges we now have to pay. Cutler is kind, polite and clearly likes animals, but it is my feeling that he should be hired for walks or once/day check in's.

Very happy to have Cutler take care of my dogs! He was great at communicating when he’d be at the house & what the dogs were up to. It’s very reassuring to have someone who is willing to go the extra mile. We will definitely ask him to help out in the future.

Safety, trust & environment

Care in any common environment has always differed based on each individual animal’s needs. As a standard, I keep the floors extremely clean and keep important/chewable items or hazards out of reach on counters/other storage areas. I’ve cared for all kinds of dogs and even have more experience with rowdy/unruly ones :) I’m confident I can always moderate my care accordingly.

Information Cutler L. would like to know about your pet

No breed preferences. Any relevant medical info/history is always nice to know before taking care of an animal. Other than that I’d just want to get a grasp of their personality, temperament, what they enjoy doing, and how they behave with the outside world(people, other dogs, noise, etc.) :)

A typical day

Activities would depend on the animal and how mobile/sociable/energetic they are. I prefer to go on outings in more calm/vacant places to keep things safe. Local trails, parks, and neighborhoods have always worked well for the animals I’ve cared for. And of course I can run around and play accordingly for hours if necessary :)

My schedule is quite open/lenient now that I have just finished my undergraduate education. I’m involved with/persuing other things. But I can work my schedule to fit your needs and have time to help most days of the week.
