When I was a child, I was deathly afraid of dogs. There was a 10yo Black Lab, named Felix, who would always charge at me when I came around. It turned out he only wanted to play. And after about a year, we became best friends until the day he passed. I've helped with big Scoobys, little Snoopys and everything in between. I've yet to meet a pup I couldn't get along with. Most of my pet sitting experience (I also did cats and birds) came from friends, family, and the combination of those groups. My most recent is a Retired Greyhound in Tampa Bay. His name is Felix Stone, and while his family is out going to concerts, I drive him around town in his family's limo, making stops for him to stretch his legs and relieve himself (as instructed by his family, of course). We would often visit the municipal airport in the area, where he could watch the planes take off, and meet the occasional flying pup, when they touched down. I used to work at that airport, so I'm familiar with the customers and their pets as well. In July 2018, I found and rescued a stray AmStaff and made her my forever pup. As it seems she was used as a breeding tool, she is not pet-friendly. To ensure the safety of all animals involved, I am no longer able to provide long-term housing for clients. Short stays are permitted, as long as you are aware and comfortable with knowing another animal will be present but separated. I strive to present the highest quality of customer service to my customers, so communication and transparency are of utmost importance to me.
