Best bet for your pet!
Pet care experience
I get it...your pet and your home are important to you! Otherwise you wouldn't be a this site right now. I currently have a dog (Beau) and a cat (Posey). Posey is a skittish indoor cat and Beau is a giant yellow lab. In fact, Beau was the ring bearer at our wedding! I look forward to meeting your pet(s). When my kids were young we had two dogs, two cats, a rabbit, and a chinchilla. We also has a barn with two horses, a pony, and at least a dozen goats. So, I have been taking care of animals for a while and I look forward to taking care of yours. With my kids in college, I have a lot of time flexibility and have the ability to house sit if needed.

Curtis has been a lifesaver! We are constantly traveling for our kids different sports activities, and aren't able to take our 2 pugs, Doberman and Chow. Curtis has watched our menagerie many times throughout the years. Our dogs love him, including our Chow, who doesn't usually like non-family members. He usually stays at our house just because it is easier that way, taking them for walks, feeding, and occasionally bathing them if needed. I never worry about leaving our pups in Curtis' care. We love him and so do our pups. I highly recommend!!

I am happy to work with any animals. My only considerations are 1) my own safety. You know your dog best. Will I be safe? 2) I am a pretty big person. So, I want your animal to feel safe too. Will my size be too intimidating?
A typical day
I really enjoy Bidwell Park and often run the 5k loop. If your animal is good for a run on a leash we can make that happen. If not, we can still certainly walk the park together.
