I love working with dogs. As my kids have grown and begun moving on my wife and I are looking for productive ways to spend our free time and I can think of nothing better to do than working with dogs. When working with dogs Patience is key. You can't rush them. Each dog has it's own personality and I will try to engage him/her on their level. Each dog has their own energy level and learning their quirks is a very interesting and enjoyable to me. I have had dogs my whole life and volunteer during the summer at National Mill Dog rescue. My volunteer time has taught me a lot about not rushing things with them. You need to enjoy every moment with them.
