The most important thing for a pet is the bond they have with their human. But let's be honest, life happens, and sometimes you just need a getaway! Walter and I have always been around furry friends ever since we can remember. I grew up with 5 different dogs, ranging from puppies to adults, big and small, yappy and quiet. Walter had 14 wonderful years with his beagle, Dixigh, before she crossed the rainbow bridge a few years ago. We currently have our own fur babies whom we love and adore - a very sweet 5-year-old gray tabby cat, Ramona, and an energetic but very friendly 1.5-year-old Westie pup, Beezus. They both enjoy playing with each other and love to host when their furry friends come and visit! We are here to be the pet sitter you trust by creating a pawsitively amazing experience for your pet(s)! Right now, we offer boarding, house-sitting services, walks, and drop-in services. I am experienced with senior dogs and have provided both dogs and cats with medications (oral & subcutaneous). We will check in as much or as little as you want! From text updates, photos, and even FaceTime dates, you'll stay in touch. As a pet owner, we know how important our pets are to us and how hard it can be to have to leave them. Be assured that we have your pet's best interest in mind and will provide them with the utmost attention, exercise, and a sense of security. Boarding: When it comes to boarding, your dog will receive the 5-star treatment! We currently reside in our house in Mount Holly. While the neighborhood is quiet, there are lots of dog friends to socialize with, if that is your/your dog's preference! If your pet is shyer, we have a fenced in backyard for your pup to run around in to his or her heart's desire! House sitting: Your animals get to stay where they feel most safe - your home. Overnights are included unless specified otherwise! Animals will be left alone for up to 4 hours at a time. During house sits, we will also do basic chores to ensure proper home maintenance. This may include sweeping, bringing in the mail, taking out the trash, watering plants, etc. If there are any other simple tasks you need to be done, just ask! Drop-ins: Pets will get up to 1 hour (at a time) of love and attention (can be extended to 2 hours on weekends and weeknights). During this time, your pet will be cared for in whatever way you specify. This includes but is not limited to: feeding, indoor/outdoor playtime, bathroom breaks, cuddle time, etc. Walks: Your dog will remain in shape when they're with us! With walks ranging between 30 minutes-1 hour, we'll explore the type of environments your pet thrives in. From your local neighborhood to dog parks to breweries, your dog is sure to get as much (or as little) social interaction as it needs! Your pets ARE allowed on the furniture and the bed if they come to our house! We've also got plenty of toys for them to choose from and play with. So, whether they're lounging throughout the day or taking advantage of any extra cuddle time, your pets will be doing so in the most comfortable way! If you have a schedule you'd like me to follow, I will adjust my day and plans accordingly. Please provide any food, leashes, toys, blankets, etc. that your pet may need while you're away!
