Hi there! I'm Crysten, your pet's next best friend. I love animals and I pride myself on being a doting pet parent--and pet sitter. You and your pets will love how attentive I am. I'll care for your pets like they're my own! I am a really active person. When I'm not dog sitting, I'm working out! As a fitness instructor and boutique fitness owner, I love being active and helping empower others to take control of their health. That's one of the things I love most about dogs, they inspire people to be active. I love that I get to combine two of my passions. I also run my own screen printing and apparel company. I'm no stranger to side-hustles that make me really happy! I am a great pet sitter because I have a genuine love for animals, as well as concern for their health, happiness, and well-being. No breed preferences. In order to provide the best experience for your pet, here are some typical questions I might ask: Do they get along with other dogs? Do they have a regular feeding & bathroom schedule / What is their usual routine during the day? Do they get aggressive or protective over food? Do they chew? Do they have a favorite toy / Any types of toys that are off limits? Are they allowed on the furniture? Do they use a crate? Are there specific things that can trigger anxiety and/or accidents? Do they bark at noises/strangers? Are they potty trained?
A typical day
There are a number options for exercise depending on your breed and size of dog. I will take your dog to a local dog park where there's lots of trees and shade to explore. I will also walk your dog through my quiet neighborhood (Capitol Hill). If your dog prefers, we can also go to Theodore Roosevelt Island for a beautiful nature walk.
