I have a proven record of being a loving, open-minded, dependable pup caretaker. My main goal is to ensure that each pet who stays with my family is comfortable, calm and most importantly, given the attention he or she deserves. We have welcomed many pets for the past 15 years, to visit and have a vacation of their own. We treat our own fur babies as members of our family, as we will for yours as well.

We allow dogs to sleep in the bed with us and they can snuggle up on the couch as well. They are welcome to sleep and relax wherever they are used to at their own home. We aim for low anxiety and to maintain consistency. Our family has a 19 lb, 13 year old, fox terrier mix named Cash, who loves to cuddle and a hound mix named Copper, both adopted - both docile, not dominant, looking to either play or cuddle.

Where does your dog normally sleep, and are there any patterns that they are used to that I should be aware of? I do ask that if a pet is staying and boarding in our home, that they are comfortable with small children, as we have a 4 year old daughter who loves furry visitors and gets very excited when they arrive. **We do have an open pool as soon as you step out of the patio**
A typical day
We spend a lot of time in our backyard, playing, swimming, swinging, running. My daughter is 6 and each dog that arrives becomes her best buddy, so she'll want to run and have fun with them. All dogs that stay with us our treated like family visitors. They get cuddles, attention, exercise and are welcome to sleep wherever makes them comfortable. We have gathered quite the collection of dog toys, and have a wonderful yard with lots of shade (but still plenty of room for sunbathing); for the swimmers, an open pool for their enjoyment.

Availability
I work from home so pets are never left alone more than short periods of time for school drop offs. We do lots of outside play and they will always have access to frequent potty breaks, plenty of water and attention. Daycare pricing is based on a maximum of 8 hours, each additional hour will be billed individually. I do not offer drop-off times before 8am during the week (although some exceptions can be made) and I prefer no drop offs after 7pm -- it often takes dogs a few hours to settle in before bedtime. Pick-ups are allowed up to 9:30pm along with pick-ups after 7am all week (again, some exceptions can be made).
