I have had multiple dogs since 1997, ranging from 8-110 pounds. I currently have an 11 year old Australian Kelpie/Lab mix, a 7 year old Boxer/Pit mix, a 3 year old Lab mix, and a 9 month old min-pin. I have experience with aggressive dogs, as well as senior and special needs dogs. The Dog Whisperer has taught me a lot about handling different dog personalities, and I have put that to good use with my own dogs, as all are rescues and have had their own 'issues' when I first got them. I am comfortable being the pack leader. 2.5 years ago, I lost my senior Lab/Great Dane mix, who was handicapped and had to use a wheelchair/cart for the last 13 months of his life. The specialized care that he needed for 2 1/2 years gives me extra experience to offer assistance to dogs who may need extra TLC. I can administer medications, provide range of motion and stretching exercises, and am comfortable maneuvering pets to get them into the most comfortable position for their condition. For your dog(s), I am able to offer walks, jogs, fetch and tug time, as well as just snuggling/hanging out, depending on what is preferred. I have experience with cats too, so am able to do drop-in visits to care for your cat(s), offer playtime, change/clean out litter box, etc. My pets are my 'kids', and I will treat yours just the same. They will be totally pampered while under my care. **NOTE: My overnight house sitting fee starts at $60. This covers overnight, breakfast and morning activity time, as well as a couple of check- ins throughout the daytime hours. If you require 24/7 care, or the majority of a 24 hour period of time in coverage, there may be an additional charge added at booking.
