Pet care experience
My name is Crystal, and I love animals. I would be delighted to travel to your home and spend time with your furry family member, day or night. I grew up with dogs and am currently a kitty parent, so am familiar with pet etiquette, feeding, playing with, and generally comforting animals of any age. There is little I enjoy more than spending time with animals. I would always be reachable by phone and/or email for check-ins, and would be happy to send you snapshots of your furbabe(s) at play, so you can be sure s/he is having a great time with me. I am also willing and able to reinforce any training practices you have established with your animal. Contact me with any questions you may have!
Reviews
Crystal is amazing. :) Very good communication and babies my babies just like I do.
Crystal exceeded expectations. I'm kind of a neurotic dog-owner, and my dogs can have separation anxiety. But Crystal put me at ease right away—the more neurotic of my two dogs, Barney, took to her immediately. She sent videos, texts and photos over the weekend to reassure me that everything was going very well. I have had bad experiences with dog-sitters and kennels in the past, which makes leaving my dogs with someone even more stressful, but Crystal was wonderful; she has experience with dogs that have had problematic behaviors, and she totally understood how to handle separation anxiety. Not only do I highly recommend Crystal to watch your dogs—no matter their personalities—I will definitely be hiring her again.
Crystal did amazing with our spoiled, high maintenance, little dogs! We got frequent updates and pictures. We always knew they were well cared for. :) Our house was nice and clean too!
Had a wonderful experience working with Crystal! Crystal was very professional and kept me updated throughout the stay. Will absolutely recommend and hope to rebook in the future!

NOTE ON CAT CARE: Rate listed in profile for cat care applies to DROP-IN visits. for OVERNIGHT cat care/housesitting, base rate is same as for dogs.
Information Crystal S. would like to know about your pet
before confirming a booking with a new client and animal, i will come to your home to meet you all and discuss the details of your pet's care and daily life - so we know we're a good fit! walking routine, medication and health information, time able to be home alone, and all behavioral "quirks" are very important for me to know. many animals who've been rescued/adopted live with separation anxiety, food/stranger aggressiveness (chronic survival mode), and fear of loud/sudden noises, among other "triggers". "senior" animals often lose their vision and/or hearing as part of aging, and need specific commands (verbal or non) to go about their day. i make a point to know as much as i can about my animal friends, so i can care for their individual needs and anticipate any complications!
A typical day
one of the best things about animals is their ability to see every day as full of potential for love and adventures, and i do my best to give them the best "staycation" possible while their family is away! my animal friends get some kind of exercise every day - if you have a walking routine, i will maintain it as faithfully as possible, and ALL furry friends get plenty of playtime (if they're the playing type!) car rides, snuggle sessions, afternoon naps, and fetch in your yard are available in abundance with me as well.
Services
Crystal can watch in your home
Availability
i am available for drop-in care for most animals as well, with the exception of dogs left alone overnight, as i believe it safest to provide overnight supervision/access for all dogs under my care.
