Pet care experience
Hello! My name is Crystal and I have been working in animal welfare for the last 6 years. From helping manage a dog daycare/boarding facility for 3 years, to working as a veterinary assistant, to my current job working as a Foster Coordinator at a local animal shelter. My boyfriend, Chris, and I have been hosting pups in our home for the last 5 years. We live in a 1400 sqft condo right above a park located between Downtown San Jose and Willow Glen. I have worked with all different ages, breeds, and sizes of dogs. I understand how to deal with a variety of different requests and instructions. We have two adult dogs that are very well socialized with other dogs. We also own 2 adult cats that are okay with being around other dogs. If you would like walks or drop-in visits, Chris will be the person handling these bookings. Chris is also a runner and can potentially take well-behaved dogs on runs during these visits. Crystal has looked after my (now 3.5 y/o) husky many times (close to 10 times) and she is still my first choice for dog boarding! There had never been any problems and I have received many cute pictures of Maya. She has also accommodated my requests and been very understanding. Highly recommend!
Crystal is not only amazing at taking care of dogs but she is great with cats too. We asked Crystal to take care of our cat Archer and she did such an awesome job. She kept me informed about his behavior, eating and sleeping patterns and was always prompt to answer any questions I had. I recommend her highly. She is reliable and trustworthy. You know that your pet ( in our case our son) is in great hands. Don’t hesitate to book her.
Crystal watched my elderly Brittany for a week while we were out of state visiting family. He definitely has higher needs now that he is older, but he came home happy and healthy from Crystal's. I won't hesitate to use her again.

Information Crystal M. would like to know about your pet
We would love to know as much as we can about your pup! The most important thing for us to know about your dog is if they are okay with being around cats and other dogs. Since it is so important that your pup and our animals can co-exist, we require a 2-4 hour free 1/2 day daycare day before committing to a boarding stay. I would also like to know if your dog is potty trained, if they are a barker, and if they are crate trained or not. It would also be useful to know if your dog has any kind of anxieties or leash aggression. It is very important that we find dogs that are the right fit for our home and little pack!
A typical day
Between Chris and I, there is usually someone always at home. I go into work about 20-30 hours a week and work from home part-time. Chris is currently unemployed and is at home all time, so your dog will get lots of one on one time! Your dog will get at least 2 to 3 walks a day around the park downstairs from our place and we will usually take them to the dog park across the street from our place with permission. Your dog will get lots of cuddles and attention when staying with us! On the weekends we like to take our dogs everywhere with us so we usually always take my rover dogs too. Our outings might include going to Fort Funston dog beach, the lake, or maybe just out to lunch in downtown Willow Glen!
