Superior care for furry friends

Pet care experience

This update was completed on October 17th, 2016. Since my recent new employment as an RN, I have decided not to accept any new animal sitting clients. But I would like to offer my services on an emergency basis because I know sitters call off at the last minute and emergency trips happen. If you have an emergency need, please call my Rover number immediately (leave a message) and then follow-up with a text. Thank you. _____________________________________________________________________________ Growing up in a family with a father as a veterinarian ultimately ended up with many children that cherished all types of animals and one that decided to be a veterinarian herself. I, on the other hand, decided to be a nurse because seeing wounded animals is something I cannot handle. I have horses, cows, and dogs of my own but have cared for most types of animals. Pet sitting is not new to me as I've had family, friends, and clients reach out to me many times to care for their dog(s) and farm animals while they were away. They can completely relax while away knowing their dog is in my care. I am experienced in the areas of animal behavior, vaccinations, medication administration, senior dog care, separation anxiety, bathing, nail trimming, grooming, and proper diet and exercise among other skills. I am currently getting my Masters in Nursing from home and would love to provide the attention and care for your dog(s) while you are away. Safety is my #1 priority. If I notice any odd or unusual behaviors, I will immediately contact a veterinarian and discuss the situation. I will never jeopardize your pets safety. Edited on 08/11/16: I will no longer be offering dog-sitting or daycare in my home.

Crystal made a difficult situation much easier. This was our first time to try Rover and Crystal so of course we were anxious and so was Abby. But Crystal came through and kept us informed and sent pictures often. What we really needed to help our trip easier. We are so thankful we chose Crystal and of course her Fur Babies were wonderful with Abby too and I think even Abby would agree with us when we say it all went really well. So from us we give Crystal a BIG thank you. She understood how we felt about leaving Abby and just made it work with such ease. I really do not have enough words to express my gratitude to Crystal and her fur kids.

If you want the perfect sitter for your pup then Crystal is your girl. She loves all animals and treats them like her own: loved in every way. If you're not sure look no further. I promise.

I would absolutely recommend Crystal to anyone for dog sitting. Coming from a dog/animal-loving family with multiple veterinarians, she is very knowledgeable about dogs and has been surrounded by them her whole life. She has watched my dog countless times and cares for him as if he were her own. I'm sure she would do the same for you! :)

Information Crystal K. would like to know about your pet

Your dog needs to be up to date on flea and tick treatments and have a regular veterinarian that I can call in case of an emergency. I do not have breed preferences as I love all dogs. I would also need to know any particular nuances about your dog and their daily habits, feeding schedule, behavior, etc. I would like to keep their schedule as consistent as possible while you are away. Safety is my #1 priority. If I notice any odd or unusual behaviors I will contact the two veterinarians I have immediate access to and discuss the situation.

A typical day

The options are entirely up to you. We can go on walks, go to my family's farm, play outside in the back yard, throw a ball or frisbee at the local dog park, etc. I would like to keep their activities the same as when you are home but am willing to add extra activities and stimulation.
